ABOUT ME
My somatics practice builds on 15 years working for social change in a variety of contexts, including community health, worker cooperative development, climate justice, and land rematriation. In addition to somatics, I consult with organizations around participatory governance and self-management.
When I'm not doing those things, you'll find me swimming in the bay, surfing in the ocean, playing soccer, or roaming the hills (and yards) of the East Bay learning about edible plants.
SOME THINGS I'M DOING
developing friendship school, a course on embodied friendship, with my friend Sarah Selim
leading coaching circles in Staci Haines' online course The Politics of Trauma: Embodied Transformation, Social Action, and Love
serving on the stewardship team of the Fierce Vulnerability Network in the Bay Area, exploring the intersection of climate justice and reparations
facilitating small practice groups around Vanessa Machado de Oliveira's book Hospicing Modernity
MY TRAINING
I’m a graduate of the Strozzi Institute’s Somatic Coaching Certification program, as well as courses on embodied leadership, somatic bodywork, and trauma and resilience. I’m also trained in relational culture with a somatic perspective by Relational Uprising.
